“Sky and Earth in Fusion” is my 1st swimwear collection where I was inspired by the natural phenomenon, “Lightning”. I consider Lightning is fusing with the Earth through root systems of trees which take similar shapes in both instances. Lightning is basically an energy which emits from the sky and Root system of a plant absorbs energy for the growth of the plant. Since my concept and the mood is basically about the energy and activeness I designed a Swimwear collection with 8 looks. I wanted to play with colors and shapes of Lightning. My color palette include 3 neutral colors which represent the Lightning and the gloominess of the sky, 2 earthy tones which represent the trees and the earth and a blue color which represents the sky. I researched on current trends and developed 8 different silhouettes with knitted fabrics which are stretchy and developed different prints in this collection for a client of age 25-35 who is sultry, rich, fashion forward, active and energetic woman who likes experimenting edgy clothing.
